Legend Oaks I is a highly desirable southwest Austin neighborhood located just 8-10 minutes from downtown Austin. The community is intended by its residents to embody high quality standards. Members who wish to host a pool party must request permission and submit an application to Pioneer Real Estate. The Board of Directors strongly suggest that you hire lifeguards, especially if you will be having small children at your party who are not strong swimmers (Please Note: Pool parties are not available Friday-Sunday 4-8 PM, or all day on holidays or holiday weekends and after 10 PM). The swimming pool is the neighborhood's favorite summertime facility. It has lap swimmers in the morning and families throughout the rest of the day. There is a separate Toddler Pool for children age 7 and under that was resurfaced in 2015. Bathroom facilities in the cabana were completely remodeled in 2014. An outdoor shower is available for the convenience of our residents.
The tennis court was resurfaced in 2010 by Dobbs Tennis Courts and the facility was given new equipment.
The annual meeting of the LOOA membership is normally held the fourth Tuesday of October, from 7-8:30 pm. The 2015 meeting was held at the Abiding Love Lutheran Church, 7210 Brush Country Rd., (corner of Convict Hill) .
